Licad schedules performance in Kawit, Cavite

The latest addition to the list of pianist Cecile Licad's provincial engagements is Kawit, Cavite, where Chopin and Liszt will be heard by the sea.

Her solo recital is on March 25, Sunday, at 5 p.m. at La Covia Hall Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park in Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite.

Her program: Chopin’s Polonaise-Fantaisie in A-flat major, Op. 61; Three Mazurkas Op.56. Andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante in E-flat major, Op. 22; Liszt’s Miserere du "Trovatore" de Verdi–Paraphrase de Concert and Après une Lecture de Dante: Fantasia quasi Sonata.

How to get there:

Take coastal road off Roxas Blvd. in Paranaque City and take the
newly finished Cavitex Highway. Island Cove is only 10 minutes away from the CCP
complex. Those commuting can take a bus to Cavite City and alight
right in front of the gate of Island Cove.
